PT Widya Presisi Solusi Achieves ISO 27001:2022 Certification, Ensuring Information Security and Data Protection

We are happy and proud that PT Widya Presisi Solusi (WPS) received the ISO 27001:2022 version certificate from Ms. Nolia Natalia, Country Manager of the British Standards Institution (BSI), on 17 March 2025. This ISO 27001:2022 version is more comprehensive than the ISO 27001:2013 version because the scopes are information security, cybersecurity, and data privacy protection. BSI re-certified WPS with the ISO 27001 2022 versions in November 2024. The implementation is one year ahead of the deadline for implementation of ISO 27001:2022 because we are very concerned with information security, cybersecurity, and data privacy protection for our client's data. ISO 27001 has helped WPS increase its standard of service, especially when WPS faced Covid from 2020 until 2022, so WPSian was ready to be flexible and work from home without compromising information security. ISO 27001 has made the information technology infrastructure available anywhere, such as access to Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Myquantumhr, and a cloud-based HRIS. WPS only needs to re-socialize and emphasize our internal policies and procedures that fit the relevant conditions, including awareness of cyberattacks and phishing emails. After six years of ISO 27001 implementation, WPSian has proactively improved its policies, procedures, and technologies. This proactive approach has increased client satisfaction and awareness about the importance of Information Security, particularly in confidentiality-related areas. In the technology area, we changed the vulnerability technology detection to Qualys Web Application Scanning because we evaluated Qualys provides more useful detailed explanations and can scan API, too. The vulnerability technology is the additional detection control; MyquantumHR has used an autonomous Oracle database with many encrypted and automatic security updates, which are preventive controls. As a result, we can implement both preventive and detective controls.
